Living a Dog's Life Part 1
Chapter One
The ride in the limosine seemed to last forever. The the further the trip, the further away from civilization it became.
His heart began to pound as the car pulled off the road and headed down a long gravel driveway. The house it led to was far off the road, it could not be seen.
Standing on the porch was the man Brian new would change his life forever, a man he had only met just weeks ago. A man who made a proposal that he seemed to scoff at.
He couldn't believe that not only would he consider it, he would accept it.
The man had seen him enjoy pup scenes at clubs. He had no idea when he talked to Brian that Brian had it rock bottom.
He proposed to pay all that Brian owed if Brian would live as his dog for six months.
"Come on in boy," the man said as Brian stepped out of the limosine. He came, as the agreement commanded, with just his clothes on his back.
The talked in the man's house for what seemed like hours. He then showed him the property, a sprawling farm "that you'll have the run of, the man said.
He showed him the barn, and the yard where the horses ran free. He had cattle, too.
His heart really started pounding when they came to the place the man referred to as Brian's new home, a pin with a German shepherd and three hounddogs, the man's hunting dogs. It had a large doghouse.
"It's big enough for all five of you," the man said. "It's pretty warm, too."
The dogs greeted them as they walked in. Brian grew nervous as the German shepherd began to growl at him.
"It's ok," the man said. "He's my guard dog. I've been training him for your stay."
He held the dog's chain to keep the dog, it seemed, from ripping Brian apart.
"Take off your clothes," the man commanded Brian.
Brian did as he was told. He seemed embarassed as he showed he had a hard on as his underwear slipped off.
"Now get on all fours," the man commanded.
Brian did as he was told. Amazingly, the dog stopped growling.
The man released the dog, who came up and rubbed right beside Brian.
"He has been trained to attack you if you stand up, if you try to speak other than bark or if you have clothes on of any kind other than a collar," the man said as he snapped a collar around Brian's neck.
"His name is King," the man said. "I'll call you Duke."
